Question
For the end wall truss framing of a barn style gambrel roof, do you have the angles for the upright framing or is it just eyeball?
Answer:
For the end wall truss framing, cutting and fitting is trial and error. Lay an upright on the truss in the jig and mark the underneath with a pencil. Or lay a straight edge on top and mark the cut line as best you can and cut to fit.
Since the trusses are symmetrical, once you get the correct angle you can reuse it on the other uprights.
